Stop motion workshop

One of the workshops we were given the opportunity to work in the stop motion animation suites, where we worked with iStopmotion software to put the animation together. We used childrens toys to create a story by interacting them with other toys. Unfortunately, the animation that I created in the work session was lost due to my mistake I was already signed in to somebody elses network and didn't have a USB stick at hand to save it. However, after grasping the main jist of how to make a stopmotion animation I decided to make little ones so I could demonstrate to you that I can make them.

I havent got a Mac, I haven't got iStopmovie. I have a PC and a webcam. So I downloaded a free trial stop motion software call Dragonmotion, where it uses the webcam as a camera. The actual setup of the programme was very similiar to iStopmotion, was extremely easy to use!

After taking some images I created the shortest of animation, (with the software being a trial version, you could only create aniamtions about 50 seconds long at maximum) so I started to play around with the software so I became more confident with the animation experience seen as I have never explored the area before.

Here are a few short clips :)

admittedly they are nothing impressive but they are just examples of stopmotion but my own examples rather than ones I have found on the internet! :)
